"I see dead people"

So last Thursday we went to the University of Toronto's medical faculty to draw muscles from life. That is it say... we drew real cadavers! It was quite the experience. Although the majority of the specimens were in the museum area in glass cases, we actually lucked out and got to use the embalming room as well, where we could literally sit close and examine preserved but unbound pieces of the human body. That's where I did my drawing from, and these are the two drawings I got out of this rather interesting trip.



The human body is really quite fascinating.
